Sharing from Job 42 this time: Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble? On how God restored Job’s health AND his earthly richess, after a period of devastating illness and loss.
Also: meet my sweet Jemimah 🙂
May God restore you all!

Hello all, in these bizar times of the corona pandemic, I’m considering a new series of vlogs, Words of Encouragement, and if I go through with this idea, then this would be
part 1.
The video is basically just me, talking to you about readjusting, finding a new normal, feelings of isolation. But most of all to share encouragement, this time by way of Psalm 23, NIV:
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
May God keep you all safe.
Back in 2015 I came up with a cute little micro album in a box. That was years before I made tutorials, and at the time I got many requests to do one. It took some time, but I finally came around to it and this week I’m sharing the end result.
The box that holds the gatefold micro album opens like an explosion box, so there’s a bonus for you. The album itself sports four updated page designs, since I’ve learned a lot since then 🙂
You can of course choose any theme for your project; mine is romantic vintage, with Rose Fields papers by 13@rts.
So enjoy the video and if you’d like to make this yourself, now you can for you can find the tutorial in my shop.
Decorating your nails is a fun passtime in between two papercraft projects! Special times like holidays or Valentine’s Day offer great opportunities to doll up, so this February I went for it – again 🙂
Why send a birthday card when you can send a Mailable Birthday Mini? 🙂
This week I’m sharing my latest design in this Mailable Mini category, created with Prima Marketing’s beautiful Amelia Rose collection. It sports two pocket pages held together by a photo booklet-in-a-booklet and offers room for 10 pictures – or 9 plus a journalling spot like mine.
If you’d like to see more where this came from, check out my other mailables: the Mini Folio version, the 6-Panel Fold-Out version and the Actual Booklet version! Still can’t get enough? Go ahead and browse through my entire Booklets & Wallets section.
Nothing says “I like you” more than a Valentine’s card. You can send them to your beloved, your friend or even that secret crush you’ve got your eyes on 🙂
So this week I’m sharing two Mon Amour Valentine’s cards, one regular sized and one XXL for that extra special dearest one.
Enjoy!
I’m still having fun designing what I call Deconstructed Envelope Cards – by which I mean fold-out cards that when closed, resemble envelopes. In previous posts I already shared a square one and a rectangular one.
This week I’m playing around with flaps of different sizes to create a whole new effect. I sized them to exactly fit some Graphic 45 cutaparts, which brings me to another tip: you only have to buy 3 sheets of double-sided paper to get a lot of bang for your buck, as long as one of them is a cutapart sheet!
Paper collections used:
* Graphic 45’s Mon Amour
* Graphic 45’s Midnight Masquerade
Enjoy!
Last week I shared my first Decontructed Envelope Card – this week I’m showing you a different variation of that same design category. This one is actually easier to create, for it doesn’t have any slanted edges like the previous one.
As usual I only modestly decorated, for imho less is still more, most of the times. 🙂
Let me know if you have any questions!
This week I’m pleased to share my latest design category with you all: Deconstructed Envelope Cards. By which mean fold-out cards that when closed, resemble envelopes. This is the first of what will probably be several more variations of this design.
Enjoy!
For the First Tutorial of this new year, I’m sharing a little instructive video on how to wrap chipboard with design paper. Think mini album (or junk journal) covers, or as I did, a layout that you’d like to mount on chipboard.
I mostly used Kaisercraft’s Christmas Edition papers to get an elegant black & white theme.
Have fun creating!
Gelukkig Nieuwjaar – Happy New Year!
Thank you all for your support and encouragement in 2019! I wish you many blessings, inspiration and of course creativity for 2020 – may at least one of your dreams come true!
Papers used: Graphic 45 – Midnight Masquerade collection
Techniques used: matting, layering, die-cutting, stamping, corner punching, inking around the edges
Extra interest items: dimensional tape, glitter glue, corner chomper
Here’s some inspiration for your nail do-up for the holiday season 🙂
As usual I used sets of false nails in colors of my liking, and decorated them – mostly with decals this time.
So go on and go for your own Glam Holiday Nails – after watching my video of course 🙂
