Mailable Photo Stand with Dapper

Leftover pieces of chipboard are ideal to create all kinds of nice trinkets and keepsakes. Like, for example, a mailable photo stand. I created this one for my mom, with some nice memories of my dad. So I again used Tim Holtz’s masculine-themed Dapper collection, printed and cropped four pictures and decorated to my heart’s desire.

As for the paper, I used 10 ATC cards, so this project is also perfect for your leftover Project Life cards or journalling cards!

Enjoying the Little Things – A Miniature Display

Hi guys,

Today I’m sharing a blog only project with you all, so no video this time. Several pictures though, so check it out!

Recently I created a little display with a picture of one of my aunts. It’s made of chipboard and cardstock, but is very sturdy nonetheless and can stand all on its own. It sports design paper on all sides and some cute little embellishments on the inside.
For this particular one I used some Mariposa paper by DCWV.

These little frames are very cute and are a great way to use up all of your leftover pieces of chipboard and paper. On top of that, they make awesome little personal gifts! Because they won’t take as much time as, say, a mini album, and I find them perfect for rainy Sunday afternoons 🙂

Create Your Own Miniature Display Frame

Recently I came up with a small display frame, or foto frame if you will, entirely made of chipboard. It’s pretty easy to make and won’t take you several days of crafting. So I decided to create a tutorial for you all, to help you through these dreary winter days of your Christmas holidays 🙂

And it won’t take many supplies either! Just some leftovers will do 😉 :

  • Some leftover chipboard pieces
  • Some leftover cardstock
  • Some leftover pieces of scrapbook paper
  • Embellishments
  • Acrylic paint
  • Glue/Double-sided tape
  • Hot glue
  • a small picture
